Can you feel it? Autumn is in the air. It's in the frostiness of the morning. And the slight curl of the leaves that will soon begin to fall from the tree. The leaves that will soon crunch underfoot as we walk, surrounded by a sea of ambers, reds and golden browns...
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1483654189795769606.post-44748100174696361922014-10-15T08:28:00.001-07:002014-10-15T08:28:26.605-07:00City Life

I can't believe it's been six months since I last posted on this blog. Not that many people read it though so I suppose it's not much of an issue. But for those few who do, I apologise. High school can be quite inconvenient at times. Anyway, thought I'd say goodbye to the old year (5 months too late) with an oceanic sunset taken in the city where I capture my most memorable photographic moments... CAPE TOWN.
Apparently the only way to get a good close up of a duck is to have a lot of bread on hand. But probably not too much or they end up crowding you and walking over your feet... Seriously, I have webbed footprints on my shoes to prove it.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1483654189795769606.post-40771710326530930652013-11-19T05:16:00.001-08:002013-11-19T05:16:39.506-08:00No name brand...So I saw a butterfly today. I know this might sound weird but it's the first butterfly that I've noticed in a while. A really long while. It might not be the brightest or most unusual of butterflies, but for some reason I just had to take a picture. I wanted to capture that moment.

It might not be the best of pictures, and it might be a bit blurry. But as I continuously remind myself, I didn't start this blog just to show off my best pictures. Well that wasn't the main point at least. the purpose of this blog is to share with you memories and feelings that I have captured in my lens. And for some reason I want to share this butterfly. I want to share the feelings that I felt when I saw it fluttering by. Of course, I can't really explain those feelings, but you know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words...Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1483654189795769606.post-50756573682540195882013-09-19T10:31:00.000-07:002013-09-19T11:10:13.151-07:00Peace...

I originally intended to post today. My original photograph was kind of busy
with quite a few elements and such, but then it occurred to me; life is so busy
all the time, that sometimes we need a little peace and calm. So that is why I decided
to post this picture. It’s one that I took a while back and I can vividly
remember the moment before taking the picture. All I could here were the peaceful
sound of waves and the flowers swaying in the breeze seemed to just calm me down and make me
forget all my worries. In that moment I didn’t have a care in the world. A lot
has changed since I took that photograph. Life is somehow becoming more hectic
day by day and I'm glad that I managed to capture a memory of that one moment of
peace and tranquillity.

Don't you just love going outside after it rains? The earth looks bright and refreshed and you see some of the most amazing sights in the sky like rainbows or, in this case, orange clouds. I'm not exactly sure how the clouds appeared orange (I think it might have something to do with the time of day) but all I knew when I saw this was that I had to capture it on my camera. It might not be one of my best, but it is definitely one of my favourite picturesUnknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1483654189795769606.post-58965145276045775902013-08-08T13:21:00.000-07:002013-08-08T13:21:58.876-07:00Practise makes perfectI've always wanted to become a National Geographic photographer. It is a blog that I created for posting photographs that I have taken that remind me of strong memories or that are of actual memories that I hope never to forget. I hope your memory is stirred as well with times from your own past when you view these photographs. Thank you for viewing my blog and don't forget to comment on pictures:)Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0
